Senior Project Manager

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to manage multiple projects and production staff in our Ballwin, Missouri office. This position will be responsible for the daily operations of Project Management, Staff Management, Engineering and some Business Development while working in a team-oriented environment using local and regional EFKsMoen staff resources. Projects will range in size from very small to multi-million dollar projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive:

• Be responsible and accountable for client/customer satisfaction and technical project execution
• Participate in proposal coordination/development
• Establish and adhere to project budgets and schedules
• Lead a project team through all phases of project development from concept through detailed design
• Serve as a key contact between EFKsMoen and our clients
• Supervise engineers and other technical personnel; provide training and guidance on project development
• Provide quality review of roadway design plans and other project reports and deliverables
• Communicate positively and effectively with clients and EFKsMoen staff
• Assist EFKsMoen staff with other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

• Education: Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited college/university
• Professional Engineer Registered in Missouri
• 10 years of relevant engineering experience which includes MoDOT project development and leading a production team
• Experience using MicroStation design software; SS4/OpenRoads preferred
• Acts with integrity and confidentiality pertaining to all company information at all times

Physical Qualifications

• Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time
• Ability to type and/or use a computer for extended periods of time
• Sufficient mobility to move to various locations in and out of the office to use various office equipment, coordinate with other staff, visit other EFKsMoen and client offices/meeting locations and visit project sites
• Sufficient visual ability to focus attention on extended use of electronic documents
